The Labyrinth of Trials presents itself as a passionate journey through more than 400 years of musical history. The viola da gamba, theorbo, lute, and romantic guitar are its protagonists. The bowed and plucked instruments together form one of the most perfect combinations in the early music repertoire. 

Thus, Lislevand and Duncumb embark on a path of continuous metamorphosis, tracing the stages of a highly personal, captivating, and playful digression from the early 17th to the 19th century.
