The last match between Estonia and Germany, and the most important one in the recent history of Estonian volleyball, took place in Belgium in the year 2017, when both teams played in the third qualifying round for entry to World Cup final. Estonia lost that round 2:3. For the last ten years, our male players have not managed to defeat Germans. Germany, which is seeing a generational change, could now finally be defeated at the home tournament.

At 19:00 France – Croatia

France and Croatia last played a point-for-point game at the 2018 Mediterranean Games when the French won a strong 3:0 victory. France also achieved the same score at the 2015 European Championship group tournament in Turin (where they played against Estonia and Italy).

According to government’s orders, only people who have had Covid-19 in the last six months, those who have tested negative or have been vaccinated are allowed to enter the arena.
