TMW 2025 | Funk Embassy kontsertõhtu

Tallinn Music Week has always been a special occasion for the Estonian Funk Embassy. With a "booties shaken, souls stirred" formula, we've been delivering funk-soul-disco music since 2016. This time, we've found our home in the heart of the Telliskivi Creative City at the Von Krahl Theatre. We'll bring to you a palette of carefully curated funk, soul, disco, r&b and jazz music from all over the world as well as a fine pick of the local Estonian uprising scene.

Instrumental jazz-funk wizard Mikk Kaasik will open the night, followed by Rosettes from Finland, who have just taken the Khruangbin canon forward in their own way at Timmion Records. Then it’s tie for RETI, set up to release new singles from her upcoming album, and turning up the heat with her powerful vocals. Salomea will take you on a journey into new school jazz, hiphop and R&B. Haldi & ans Flamingo, local renovators of estrada soul, and Ki! from Denmark will bring the night to a close with their vintage global soul and funk grooves.
