SÉRGIO PIRES clarinet, ERSO chamber formations

In February, clarinettist Sérgio Pires will perform with the ensembles of ERSO. He is the principal clarinet of the London Symphony Orchestra, as well as an active soloist and chamber musician. He has been accompanied by, among others, oboist Heinz Holliger and flutist Emmanuel Pahud, who are considered among the all-time greats of wind music. Together with ERSO musicians, Pires will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s serenade for wind instruments, which is known by the title Gran Partita.
