Saxophonist, singer, and composer Antonio Lizana – an artist regularly appearing on major stages across the United States and Europe – is today one of the most renowned figures in flamenco jazz. Blending Andalusian flamenco rhythms and melodies with jazz-infused improvisation, Lizana’s music is unmistakably distinctive and deeply engaging. Passionate, romantic, and soulful, it sets even the typically reserved Nordic heart beating to a flamenco rhythm.
