Alonette • Sügisjazz 2024
Alonette is the new alias of versatile singer-songwriter Anett Tamm. As Alonette, she embraces the role of a contemporary storyteller, singing about wild adventures, everyday beauty and all the experiences that wound and comfort the human soul. Her music blends the nostalgic influences of 1970s pop and rock with a modern twist, seeking a balance between sentimental beauty, satirical lyrics and heartfelt expression.
Jazz enthusiasts may recognise Anett Tamm from her work with ensembles like Alfa Collective and TamTam Duo. She is also known for her collaboration with French composer and guitarist David Chavellier, with whom she toured Estonia and France, performing the Songs of Ophelia programme. Awarded the Young Jazz Talent of the Year in 2022, Anett Tamm has continually expanded her musical range. As Alonette, she captivates audiences with songs that blend nostalgia for the past with contemporary sensibilities. Drawing inspiration from her favourite artists – English, French and Estonian songwriters – she performs alongside outstanding Estonian musicians, all well-known from various groups and solo projects.
