Jonathan Bäckström Quartet is a young and rising talent of Finnish and Swedish musicians led by bassist/composer Jonathan Bäckström. The quartets expression consists of minimalistic landscapes and explosive, multi layered free improvisation. Each musicians brings their own individual voice to create a strong musical statement. Next to Bäcksträm plays altosaxophonist Marcus Wärnheim, tenorsaxophonist Adele Sauros and drummer Benjamin Nylund.
