A treat for fans of minimalism, Martin Roth – pianist, composer, and producer born in Frankfurt and now based in Berlin – arrives at Jazzkaar! Having also worked in electronic dance music, Roth is often compared to his contemporary and fellow Berlin-based artist Nils Frahm – especially for his calmer, more ambient work. At Jazzkaar, Roth will present his new, more introspective music: subtle melodies, warm textures, and nostalgic imperfections that express a longing for a slower pace and deeper human connection in an increasingly fast-moving world.
