Philly Joe’s Support Concert — KING:FISH & Minimal Viable Band
PHILLY JOE'S SUPPORT CONCERT - KING:FISH & MINIMAL VIABLE BAND
Saturday, April 11, 8 p.m. at Philly Joe's Jazz Club
Running a jazz club is a beautiful idea and a terrible business model. That’s why this evening exists. Join us at Philly Joe’s Jazz Club for a special support concert featuring two bands connected to Tallinn’s slightly chaotic intersection of music, startups, and questionable artistic decisions.
Come for the music, stay because you want to give your support! Live music by KING:FISH and Minimal Viable Band (MVB).
🎸 KING:FISH is a compact duo playing upbeat covers, odd musical detours, and several original songs that lean toward the absurd. Think groove, irony, storytelling and the occasional moment where things work better than expected.
Jevgeni Kabanov — who occasionally performs under the stage persona Jamie King — brings guitar, vocals and a taste for playful songwriting, while Mark Fishel holds everything together with keyboard bass lines and harmonies that make the duo sound far larger than it should.
Line-up:
Jevgeni Kabanov — guitar, vocals
Mark Fishel — synth-bass, backing vocals
🥁 Minimal Viable Band is what happens when members of the Estonian Founder Society decide that shipping code is not enough and attempt to ship a rock band instead.
Their sound leans toward punk-rock attitude, fast grooves, and dance-friendly energy — the kind of set where standing politely becomes increasingly difficult. Expect driving bass lines, dual guitars, and drums that push the room toward the dance floor.
In startup terminology, it’s a high-energy MVP: fast to launch, slightly chaotic, and designed to get people moving.
Line-up:
Jevgeni Kabanov (ZeroTurnaround) - vocals
Reigo Ahven (Fairmus) - guitar
Kalev Kärpuk (Adact) - guitar
Kristjan Lind (Bikeep) - bass
Mikk Lilles (Alpa Kids) - drums
The ticket does not guarantee a seat, we recommend arriving early or making a table reservation for 10 € per table: info@phillyjoes.com
