¡TABLAO! “flamenco del Norte al Sur” is back at Philly Joe’s for the fourth time, and on this occasion the main cast will be joined by the great artists Florencia Oz and Isidora O’Ryan!
¡TABLAO! is flamenco in its most authentic improvisational and spontaneous form. It is a concept where any ensemble of musicians and dancers can meet in one evening and present the audience with a mix of complex rhythms, beautiful melodies and captivating dance from distant Andalusia.
The concert is part of the Ibero-American Cultural Festival Iberofest’s program and the event is supported by the Spanish Embassy in Estonia and the Chilean Embassy in Finland.
Florencia Oz is one of the most prominent flamenco artists of the new generation. Having lived in Seville for over 19 years, Florencia has danced with the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet and with the companies of Rafaela Carrasco and David Coria. She has also collaborated with artists such as Encarna Anillo, Marina Heredia and Artomático, and created the choreography for opera Les Enfants Terribles (2025) as part of the Seville I Opera Festival. Her latest collaborations include ,,PARCAS. La voz, el ojo, la carne’’, co-directed with Paula Comitre and Carmen Angulo and premiered in Madrid in 2025.
Isidora O’Ryan is a Chilean cellist, singer, composer and producer who works mainly in the fields of contemporary music, electronics and improvisation. Her work has been recognized with the Premio Artista Relevación award at the Índigo Awards (2020) and the Best Electronic Music Artist award at the Pulsar Awards (2024). In parallel with her solo project, she has composed and participated in flamenco projects ,,Los Bailes Robados'' (David Coria), ,,Dama de Noche'' (Marta Gálvez) and ,,PARCAS. La voz, el ojo, la carne'' with Paula Comitre, Florencia Oz and Carmen Angulo.
Ingrid Mugu is an Estonian flamenco dancer and choreographer who lives in Madrid, where she studies at the Conservatorio Superior María de Ávila dance conservatory. She previously studied flamenco at the Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco school in Seville and is the first Estonian to work as an artist in the tablaos of Seville. She is the creator and performer of the flamenco play ,,Soledad’’, which was nominated at the Estonian Theatre Awards. She has been the main performer at Tampere Flamenco Festival, performed at the Guirijondo Festival and at flamenco tablaos in Warsaw, Vienna, Helsinki, Malmö and elsewhere.
Indira Aparici is a singer from Castellón, Spain, who studied flamenco at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco schools. Indira has conquered the stages of several international flamenco festivals and national competitions with her charming voice. She has participated as a singer in various productions, with which she has attended several flamenco festivals.
Dennis Duffin grew up in a musical family in Toronto, Canada. Thanks to his father, he began studying and performing flamenco music at a young age. He has shared the stage with prominent artists in Spain and Canada and performs a variety of genres, from traditional flamenco to Balkan traditional and Arabic fusion music.
