Two missions meet with a shared vision:
Rein Lemberpuu’s passion for sharing Toltec philosophy and Reigo Ahven’s drive to keep live music alive. These goals come together in a life-affirming event format, combining music with warm conversation. The project is .Contriber’s and Philly Joe’s contribution to Tartu 2024’s “Arts of Survival” concept, as both ancient wisdom and live music struggle to remain relevant in today’s high-tech world.
The conversation will be moderated by a .Contriber mentor.

Big Band Tartu has been connected in one way or another to all three European Capitals of Culture this year - Tartu 2024, Bodo 2024 (Norway) and Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024 (Austria). So, in the first half of the concert, music from all these places will be performed with a short story why we have made such a choice. In the second half of the concert, we look at the wider world and take a look at the important anniversaries of many musicians who changed the world.
