Atrin Madani (DE)
ALTRIN MADANI
Wednesday, July 8, 9 p.m. at Philly Joe's Jazz Club
Atrin Madani is regarded as one of the most exciting new voices in European jazz. The Berlin-based singer with Persian roots combines timeless elegance with a modern sensibility and unmistakable emotional depth. Inspired by legends such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett while drawing equally from contemporary artists like Norah Jones and Gregory Porter, Madani creates a sound that feels both classic and strikingly fresh.
His acclaimed debut album “Where Are We Now?”, nominated for the German Jazz Prize, introduced audiences to his unique ability to reimagine songs across generations with sophistication, warmth, and soul. Having already shared stages with renowned big bands and performed before thousands as support act for Gregory Porter, Atrin Madani now brings his captivating live show to Estonia for the very first time.
Expect an evening of elegance, intimacy, groove, and powerful storytelling — anchored by Estonia's finest jazz musicians!
