0★ HOTEL • XXXIII Viljandi pärimusmuusika festival

The legendary old gym is opening its doors to folk festival visitors once again! If you're looking for a reliable roof over your head during the folk festival, don’t mind sleeping on a simple gym floor, and find old buildings and school camp memories romantic, then the 0★ Hotel is perfect for you!

TICKETS

The 0★ Hotel is located right in front of the festival’s main gate, in the old gym of the historic Sports Hall at Vaksali Street 4. Sleeping accommodation is in a shared gym hall. Unless you purchase the comfort package, you must bring your own sleeping gear. Your ticket includes access to showers in the gym’s shower rooms. There is 24-hour reception desk supervision, a phone charging station, facilities for making coffee and tea, and clean drinking water available. Only guests with the accommodation wristband are allowed into the 0★ Hotel. Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM, and alcohol and narcotic substances are strictly prohibited. Pets are not allowed in the gym. 

The 0★ Hotel opens on Thursday, July 23 at 12:00 PM and closes on Monday, July 27 at 11:30 AM. Tickets are exchanged for accommodation wristbands at the 0★ Hotel reception desk (old gym of the Sports Hall, Vaksali 4). Entrance is through the main entrance of the neoclassical gym building with columns. 

If spaces are still available, tickets may also be purchased on-site at the 0★ Hotel reception desk during the festival. Payment can be made by both cash and card.

Ticket Options

• ONE NIGHT IN THE 0★ HOTEL — THURSDAY OR SUNDAY
  A place for one person for one night on Thursday or Sunday at the Viljandi Folk Music Festival 0★ Hotel costs €15. Sleeping on the gym floor — bring your own sleeping equipment!
  During the festival: €20 (sold on-site subject to availability).

• ONE NIGHT IN THE 0★ HOTEL — FRIDAY OR SATURDAY
  A place for one person for one night on Friday or Saturday costs €20. Sleeping on the gym floor — bring your own sleeping equipment!
  During the festival: €25 (sold on-site subject to availability).

• FULL FESTIVAL STAY IN THE 0★ HOTEL
  A place for one person for four nights at the Viljandi Folk Music Festival 0★ Hotel costs €50. Sleeping on the gym floor — bring your own sleeping equipment!
  During the festival: €75 (sold on-site subject to availability).

• FOLK COMFORT PACKAGE IN THE 0★ HOTEL
  The 0★ Hotel comfort package costs €185. The package includes accommodation for two people for four nights and also includes:

• one double air mattress

• two sleeping bags

• two pillows

• towels (must be returned to the festival)

• privacy screens separating sleeping areas in the gym

Advance sale of the comfort package runs until July 8, 2026 (inclusive) or until spaces sell out.

A Piletikeskus service fee is added to all prices.

NB! Children up to and including 12 years old receive a 50% discount on all 0★ Hotel tickets. Entry is only allowed with an accompanying adult. Please be prepared to show the child’s ID document at reception.
